Creative Commons

A clear use of Creative Commons tools in the classroom is legal access to teaching materials and content. Being able to copy and distribute resources, without concerns for copyright, is very useful. When teaching our students about the importance of plagiarism, we must remember to model our expectations and ‘practice what we preach.’ Understanding how Creative Commons licensing operates, and how to properly attribute authorship, is a lesson that both teachers and students will need.
